Firebird Trans Am Map Light Assembly
This listing is for one NOS (new old stock) map light/interior dome light assembly that was meant to be installed on the 1980-81 GM assembly line.
This item is absolutely new old stock and was never installed.

While this item is very nice, the OEM chrome finish as well as the lens may have some very minor scratches or shelf wear, also this unit does not come with the map light wire harness (required for installation).
From what we can tell this item is the same for multiple GM years and models including pick up trucks, but please do
your own research to make sure that this item will fit your particular application before purchasing.
Why no box or retail packaging?  Well, we were actually lucky enough to have purchased a small inventory of NOS Firebird, Trans Am and some Camaro parts that were removed from the General Motors Van Nuys California
Assembly Plant
between 1980 and 1982.  Since GM did not use retail packaged inventory to assemble cars on the line we don't have any packaging to include.
We have multiples to sell of some items other items we only have one or maybe two in our inventory to sell.  Since some items are flawless and others have minor issues or shelf wear we have decided to list most items individually so you can rest assured that the item in the listings images is the actual item you will receive.
