Have you ever wanted to own a really amazing piece of high-end hifi/home theatre equipment but was always out of reach? Well, I’m selling my Rotel RSX-1055 7.1 A/V receiver due to recent upgrade. Retail was ,600.00
It has internal amplification for 5 channels and if you want 7 you’ll need a 2 channel power amplifier.
The core transformer is massive, with select grade filter capacitors that deliver sufficient voltage and current to all channels at its rated output. Each of the five internal power amplifiers delivers 75 watts per channel RMS into 8 ohms, all channels driven.
You’ll see some of the more mainstream(Pioneer, Yamaha for example) brands rate higher outputs but they still won’t come close to the power and class of this Rotel. It sounds so nice. Vintage Rotel sound and power!
It also has 7.1 multi-channel inputs too so if your Blu-ray or SACD player can internally decode and output via analogue (and you have the speakers), you can enjoy the benefits of HD audio. It processes HDCD cd's, Dolby Digital, Dolby Pro Logic II, Dolby EX, Rotel XS, dts ES and dts Neo 6.
The most important things to note is this device sounds really amazing, it’s very powerful and is built like nothing else – it weighs 45 pounds and that’s mostly the internal amplifiers and transformer! It was located in my music room, and used as the main amp. I grabed it due to the sound of Rotel, the power, and it has the capacity to use 2 floor subwoofers!!! That really helps with your choice of speakers, as you can send output to two subwoofers when listening to music, or when watching movies.
Also has AM/FM tuner.
I have original manual and the original remote control.
Shipping will be UPS ground. Again...it is close to 50 lbs, so it may be a bit high. It will be insured!
